Not sure what size reel you are looking for but if it is in the 8 to 9 weight range and you budget is the $200 range then you may want to take a look the Orvis Access Mid Arbor.

Great reel for the money. Cost $165.00 and spool is $89.00. You can get the reel now and spool a little later, Smart way to go. Buy it Directly from Orvis and if you are not happy you can get you money back with no hassles I say that from experience. .

I have used Cortland STH Pop 3 reels for the last 15-20 years. Reel costs about $70.00 and spools $10.00.These reels have cassette spare spools. I carry floating ,Intermediate, shooting heads with me at all
times. I have caught Bluefish,Striped bass to 20 lbs, False Albacore, Bonita, Spanish Mackerel, Bonefish and Permit. Took a Blue Marlin about 175-200 on an STH 910 on a 10 weight. Drag got blown out but landed fish and Cortland replaced reel. It is great to have a fancy reels but nice on my wallet with Cortland
STH. Also if the reel breaks or for what ever reason it will not work Cortland will replace it and if push
comes to shove. I can afford a new STH.

You might consider the Lamson Konic. Their sealed drag is top notch. The reel is cast ... but pressure cast and machined sso it's a cut above the typical cast reel.
